LINPAC Publishes LIFE Model

In collaboration with their project partners LINPAC has today published the final edition of the LIFE model for Plastic Bottle Recycling in the UK. This report represents the culmination of over 4 year's practical work and experience gained by the acknowledged leaders in the field of plastic bottle recycling in the UK. Not much of this work would have been possible however without the help and support of the European Commission, chanelled through the LIFE program.

The report discusses the practical issues confronting the establishment of bottle recycling schemes, together with the real problems encountered during their operation. Wherever possible guidance on how to confront and surmount these problems and issues is available. The report looks to the future as well, and represents probably the best guide yet available on how to progress in an area regarded by many as very difficult.
